Honey Boo Boo (Finally) Coming to South Park

Satire has always been a thinking man's game. Satire is the form of humor that holds a mirror up to society and says "look how ridiculous you are." For much of global history dissent with the powers that be had to be disguised in comedy and innuendo. Creating social commentary while maintaining a sense of humor without overstepping an often undefined line, takes supreme skill. Ancient Greece had Plato and Aristophanes, Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels and Voltaire's Candide took satire to new heights at a time when critisimim of one's government could cost you your life. Today, thank God, we are truly lucky to have Matt Stone and Trey Parker and their satirical vehicle South Park. For over a decade, politicians, entertainment artists, trends, religions, songs, movies, fads and beliefs have been fair game for 4th grade Cartman, Kyle, Stan and the routinely dead Kenny (killed by those bastards). Mr. Stone and Mr. Parker have been truly equal opportunity lampooners. Everyone has been offended and equally entertained. One of the hallmarks of this writing duo is their timeliness. Their episodes appear to have been written, animated and edited on the same day as something is new and fresh is on everyone's radar. Tonight's episode is no different. With the explosion of reailty television and ever lower standards we are demanding of the producers of this genre, has given us a glimpse into a world that for lack of a better word is disturbing. In this world, extremely young girls are made up to look like their much older counterparts down to their shoes, paraded on stage and prodded through their routines by parents who clearly need another hobby. One of the standout stars of the baby pageant scene was a little girl by the name of Alana Thompson, otherwise known as Honey Boo Boo. She has become so popular that a new show was created with her as the title character. The show is called "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and centers around this precocious little girl, Mama Bear and Sugar Bear (Mom and Dad) and her sisters in a small town in Georgia. The show enjoys tremendous ratings. And, as if our prayers and offerings have been answered, Honey Boo Boo will meet the boys from South Park this evening in what is sure to be a well- deserved send-up of this entire baby pageant industry. One word of advice for the little lady with an attitude, Cartman demands that you "Respect his Authoritaa!"

Smith and partner Cheryl Burke, who was also partnered with Smith when he won Dancing with the Stars' third season in 2006, danced a quickstep routine. Lachey and partner Anna Trebunskaya performed a jive routine. Lachey won Dancing with the Stars' second season with Burke in 2006. IndyCar racer Helio Castroneves and partner Chelsie Hightower were the other couple still in danger of elimination prior to Fatone and Johnson's ouster, as Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet noted they were actually the other couple in the bottom two based on the combination of the judges' scoring and home viewer votes from the prior performance show. Castroneves and Hightower finished in sixth place on the judges' leaderboard after they performed a jive routine which earned 23 points. Soap star Kelly Monaco and partner Val Chmerkovskiy performed a quickstep routine that earned them 22 points from the judges, leaving them in tenth place on the leaderboard. Monaco won Dancing with the Stars' inaugural season in 2005 with partner Alec Mazo. Eleventh place went to actress Kirstie Alley and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy after they danced a jive worthy of 21 points. The pair originally competed together and finished as the runner-up couple during Dancing with the Stars' twelfth season in 2011. Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized With Lung Infection Actress

Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized Sunday night for a lung infection, TMZ reports.

According to the site, Lohan has been telling friends for weeks that she's suffering from "walking pneumonia," and when things got especially bad over the weekend, she was rushed to New York's Mount Sinai Hospital.

People reports that the actress was hit hard by the effects of asthma. Lohan's rep told the mag she was "treated and released, and is doing fine."

This is just the latest health scare for Lohan, who was taken to the hospital in early June after smashing her Porsche into an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, California. The following week, paramedics were called to her penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, California, where she was filming the Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick." EMTs left the scene without the actress, and her reps insisted that she was suffering from "exhaustion and dehydration" and said Lohan was actually napping after a grueling stretch of shooting.

Lohan also made headlines just last week after a reported hit-and run with a pedestrian in New York. In a statement to MTV News, her rep said that while the accident was still being investigated, he believed Lohan would eventually be found innocent. "While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing. We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue," her rep noted in the statement. Lohan was later charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
